COVID-19 update from SRG restaurants to our guests

Dear Schlow Restaurant Group Guests:

First and foremost, I hope this finds you and your family well during this unprecedented time.

As new information and mandates are shared, the landscape of the hospitality industry continues to shift and change moment to moment.

As restaurant operators, our most important concern is to make sure everyone we interact with and love is safe and healthy.  All restaurant workers across the country have been united by this crisis and we are going to face many challenges ahead; we need to stay positive and work together to navigate through these uncharted waters.

The road ahead is going to be a bit bumpy and the timing is a little unclear, but we will get through this —as servers, cooks, bartenders, hosts, dishwashers, somms, managers and chefs,  we always do!

During this uncertain time, it's more important than ever for all of us to be supportive, compassionate and kind to one another.  None of us truly knows what the next few days, weeks, months will look like but it's imperative that we are continuing our vigilance of expanded health and safety practices. At SRG restaurants we are closely monitoring updates from the CDC and our lawmakers, following their lead on best practices and advice.

Based on the latest information we have been given, the dining rooms at Alta Strada, Nama, Prima, Tico, The Riggsby and Casolare will be temporarily closed until we are told it is safe for us to re-open.

These adjustments to our daily life don't mean you can’t still enjoy great food; some of our restaurants have created some special menus for carry-out and we’ve partnered with delivery services through Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats, Caviar and Seamless to bring delicious meals to you at home.

You can also support our staff by purchasing a gift card on our websites for use when we reopen for full service.

As we look ahead to what will be a daunting year for our neighborhood restaurants, our employees, and our industry as a whole, please consider helping the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington's Restaurant Worker Relief Fund.

As always, the quickest way to stay informed about our restaurants is to subscribe to our newsletter. I’m always interested to hear from you with any suggestions on what we can be doing better or if you have any concerns, so feel free to shoot me an email at info@schlowrg.com.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and your support....thank you!

As soon as we possibly can, we hope to resume business as usual and serve you again.

Stay safe, stay positive.

With much gratitude,

Michael Schlow and the Entire Schlow Restaurant Group
